You can set up your online store with Google Analytics, which will give you detailed information that you can use for your business. The statistics can give you information about user insights, how they shop, how many people are in your store right now or how many sales you have made.
The function is available with Premium package Standard and Prof. You can see detailed information about purchased products, such as most popular products, average order value, revenue associated with the order, etc...
- Log in to your Google Account with Google Analytics .
- Press Registration to get started. Then fill in the information for your online store and press Get Tracking ID .
- Check both boxes that you accept the terms and press I accept at the very bottom of the box. You may need to zoom out in your browser to see this button.
- You will then see a page containing your Tracking ID . Copy it.
- To enable online shopping mode, step back, tap Online shopping settings and enable Turn on online shopping and Enable extended online shopping reporting.
- Log in to your Webnode account and open the online store. Press SETTINGS at the top of the editor.
- Press Settings in the left column and select Add account next to Google Analytics.
- Paste the code you copied in step 3 and press Save .
- Publish your changes.
Your online store is now connected to your Google Analytics account. You can now complete the setup in your Google Analytics account by setting up which information you want to collect, or which conversions you want to track.
