The Webnode 2.0 editor allows you to hide a particular page of your website or your entire website from search engines. This is a useful tool if you do not want visitors while you build your website.
NOTE: This article only covers hiding pages from search engines. To hide a page within your website, follow the guide How to Hide a Page from the Menu. To make a page accessible only with a password, follow the guide How to Lock a Page.
How to hide only some pages:
1. Click Pages.
2. Click the page you want to hide. Go to SEO page settings and scroll down.
3. Click the Hide this page from search engines button. If the button is grey, the feature is disabled. If the button is blue, the feature is active.
How to hide the whole website:
1. Click Settings.
2. In the Website Settings tab, click the Search engine indexing button.
3. In both cases, be sure to publish your changes.
