In this guide, you can learn how to remove a website from the Google search engine. This step can be useful, for example, if you have already deleted your website on Webnode, but it still appears in search results.
In general, we are not able to influence visibility on the Internet, as search engines are not operated by us. A previously created website may remain searchable (indexed) in search engines for some time. The search engines should eventually remove it on their own after a longer period without activity or traffic.
You can speed up the removal process by deleting the original URL from Google—for this purpose, you can use the Google Removals and SafeSearch reports Tool.
TIP: If you need to hide pages from search engines, you can follow the guide How to hide a page from search engines.
