In this guide, you will learn how to add payment methods to your online store.
1. In the project details, select Store settings and then Payment methods.
2. Another way to access this is from the editor by clicking on Settings in the top menu of the online store editor.
3. Then, select the Online store tab and click on the Set up button next to Payment methods.
4. The online store provides examples of some payment methods, which you can customize by clicking Edit next to the selected payment method.
5. You can add new payment methods by clicking Add new method.
6. Then, select the specific payment method.
In the Webnode editor, you can add payments such as Cash, Cash on delivery, Bank transfer, PayPal, or card payments through services like Paytrail, Stripe or Sofort.

WARNING: Once you add a new payment method to the online store, its status will be marked as Active. This means the new method has been added to the store, but it is not automatically connected to the external payment system. To successfully link your store with the selected payment method, you must set up the service directly with the payment provider. You can find more information in the articles mentioned above.
