In this guide, you’ll learn how to create and manage post categories within your blog, allowing you to organize posts by topic. To create a new category, you need to create a new blog page. Each blog page becomes a category, with a name you choose. For more information, refer to the article How to Add a Blog—so your site needs to have at least two blog pages (categories).
You can manage categories in the Manage Posts section, accessible through the Manage posts button on the blog feed.
Or by clicking on Blog posts in the top left corner of the editor.
Here, you can filter posts by category using the dropdown menu on the left side of the window. You can also move posts to a different category using the Move button.
After clicking the Move button, select the desired category and confirm by clicking the Move button again.
In the blog feed, you can also select the categories to display. This is only possible with the embedded blog feed, not with a blog page itself.
1. Click on the blog feed and select Layout.
2. Then click on Show posts and choose the category you want to display on the page.
TIP: You can also nest categories (blog pages) under a main category by moving them in the menu. The result might look something like this:
