In this article, you will learn how to add a new content block in Webnode. Within the editor, sections and content blocks are distinguished. Sections refer to larger parts of the page, and their settings are controlled using the gear icon on the right side of the page. Content blocks are smaller parts of the page (for example, just a form or text) and their settings are controlled through the “three dots” button located directly on the specific content block. One section can contain multiple content blocks. If you want to add a section, you can follow the guide on How to Add a New Section.
1. Hover your mouse over the content of the section to display the plus button for adding a new content block.
2. Select the type of content you want to add. More options will appear by using the slider.
3. Publish the changes.
TIP: You can freely move content by dragging it to an existing content block or to a newly added content block.
