In this guide, you will learn how to add an online store to your existing website. This feature is useful if you want to sell goods or services on your website. The option is available for all website templates.
1. Create a new page and select Online Store as the template. Confirm by clicking Choose.
2. A short guide to creating an online store will appear. At the end, continue by clicking Open store.
3. The online store feature will be automatically added to your website, and you can start selling right away. We recommend reading the articles Basic Online Store Administration, Basic Online Store Control, and Basic Settings, where you will find all the important information about setting up your online store.
4. You can freely edit the product listing that appears on your website or create a new product listing. You can add new products, categorize them, or set up payment and shipping methods.
How to disable the online store
If you no longer wish to use the online store, you can easily disable it.
1. In the editor, click Settings.
2. Select the Online Store tab, scroll down to Close online store and choose Close.
3. Confirm the disabling of the online store by clicking Close Store.
WARNING: Disabling the online store is irreversible, and all online store content, including orders and customer lists, will be permanently deleted.
