How to Delete a Section

In this guide, you will learn how to delete sections on your pages. A section generally means a larger part of the page, and its settings are managed via the gear icon on the right side of the page.

In the editor, sections and content blocks are different. Content blocks are smaller parts of a page (for example, just a form or some text), and their settings are managed with the “three dots” button located directly on the given content block. One section can contain multiple content blocks. Content (content blocks) can be moved between sections. A section cannot be empty and must always contain at least one block.

1. Hover your mouse over the section and click the gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Click the trash bin icon.

3. Confirm the deletion.

4. Publish the changes.

TIP: If you want to delete only the section but keep its content, you can move it according to the guide How to move or copy a content block. Similarly, you can also move entire sections. For more information, see the guide How to move or copy a section.
